论坛会址总投资5.8亿元，总用地约52.8亩，总建筑面积4.85万方。项目从用地椭圆形的形态及其标识性地位的角度出发，以“击云破晓，凤舞九天”为建筑设计理念进行设计。

The investment of the site of the conference is 580 million yuan, with a total area of about 52.8 acres. The total floorage is 4.85 million square meters. The project starts with the elliptical shape of the land and its status as an identifier, and uses “Strike clouds for dawn, phoenix dances in the sky” as the concept of architectural design.

科技新城管委会有关负责人表示，3年后，这里的联合国全球地理信息管理德清论坛会址将成为德清标志性建筑，并首迎全球地理信息管理业界高端人士。以后，这里就是全球地理信息界的“博鳌论坛”。

The leading official of Science and Technology Park Administrative Committee said that after 3 years, the Deqing site of UN World Conference on Geographical Information will become a landmark of Deqing, and usher in the high-end people of global geographic information management industry for the first time.
