考研英语长难句是英语拿分的一大障碍，考生一定要攻克。而最好的材料便是对历年真题的研究，在真题中有很多比较经典的句子，大家可以拿来试手，下面整合了8个，大家先看一看。

The这个冠词不能修饰another，the another 做主语的话应该再写的具体些;important换成名词importance。

Candidate后是一个定语从句，with是和compare连着的，就是所有的测试都需要一个潜在的候选者，进而可以和这个人比对DNA。

第一句话，critics是主语argue是谓语，that后面是宾语从句，然后to which 引导的是修饰collections的定语从句，因为compare的固定用法是compare to/with sth, 在which引导从句时候compare后面的to提到了which前面。评论家也指出商业的基因检测仅仅和类似作为样本的参考搜集一样。

4.But because hard laughter is difficult to __4__, a good laugh is unlikely to have __5___ benefits the way, say, walking or jogging does.

Because引导原因状语从句，后边是主句，不好理解的可能是way后边的成分，the way做方式状语，does代替了have measurable benefits.这句话是说因为强笑很难保持，所以不可能以衡量散步或慢跑好处的方式来衡量大笑带来的好处。

5.But do not bother trying to kill off old habits; once those ruts of procedure are worn into the brain,they are there to stay.

然而不必庸人自扰地想着改掉一些旧习惯;因为一旦这些根深蒂固的模式进入大脑后，他们就会长久停留。(意思是旧习惯很难改掉)。

6.If you then examined the European national youth teams that feed the world Cup and professional ranks, you would find this strange phenomenon to be even more pronounced。

feed本意有养活还有提供的意思，这里是在定语从句中的动词，是说这个团队为世界杯和专业球队提供人员，注意一下rank，除了等级外，还有队伍的意思。

7.Instead, the new habits we deliberately press into ourselves create parallel pathways that can bypass those old roads.

press是按压的意思，具体到这里的语境，是说我们刻意地把一些新习惯强加于我们自己。

8.做态度题时的正反关系原则，正有并列、解释、列举，反有转折和否定。如果按字面理解其实不难，一个人的态度接着可以有例子、详细解释、或并列观点出现，那这是对现有态度的支持和递进;而转折和否定的出现则是对态度的反面。一般态度题定位准了也是容易选出来的，这个原则是在说如果看不懂态度可以从后边内容正反关系推出来。比如2012年text4,40题，问你对于public-sector的态度，原句在最后一段public-sector does not reward high achievers may be a much bigger problem,其实从这句话中就足以看出那个人的态度，不太赞成。为了更进一步看这个bigger,前边是在说银行家的高额工资已经遭到了批评---是个问题，而后边说的更是个大问题。
